Service Contract
We Maintain and Service all Guardian Generators. With a contract you can save big money and get the most out of your
generator. With a contract, we can assure you that your generator is in top condition, and find out if there's any defects or
flaws with the unit. We also check the oil to ensure that the engine has good oil.
With a contract we do all of the following every 6 months:
1. We visually inspect your unit and accessories, checking for any rusting, chips, dents,
and corrosion that could affect your unit.
2. We check the engine, inspecting the spark plugs, hoses, muffles, supports, and
adjustments.
3. We check the lube oil and filter, replacing if and when necessary.
4. Lubrication of all required parts and accessories, and spray wax the outside of the unit,
to protect against the sun and against rusting.
5. Inspection of the starter system, more specifically the batteries and the cables.
6. Check for leaks.
7. Inspection of the charge system, more specifically the alternator, and speed limiter.
8. Inspection of the transfer switch, and of the following accessories which are a part of it :
Exercise clock, transfer mechanism, utility and standby coils, start and stop relays, and
the voltage sensing regulator.
9. We also simulate a power outage, making sure the generator cranks, and passes all
internal tests.
10. We will also submit a report to the customer, advising the customer of parts and/or
labor needed.
This is only available to residents of Central Florida.

Did you know?
The break in oil for a generator is a mineral based oil, and is only meant for up to 4 hours of running. After that the oil can be harmful to the unit if it isn't changed.
